Poor tiny baby. The jeans from yesterday were 0-3mo and these are 3-6mo and are so big on him. He has a teeny tiny butt so not only are they really long on him, they will fall off if we're not careful.

It was a cool day so wearing striped long sleeves onesie. So cute! Went to visit my brother's family. He was good and I think had my sister in law thinking about another baby for a split second. She didn't know boys could be so cute! Heh

Telling me all about his big day.

He rolled 360 degrees today. He's rolled from front to back and back to side but never all the way over until today. He is very selective on when he wants to do things. He'll roll to back a bunch but then stop for weeks. He's been rolling to side since 6 weeks but some days he doesn't feel like it and never went to stomach before.

Today I charmed all the old ladies at Walgreens waiting for a flu shot.

Had his doctor’s appointment tonight and got his shots. They didn't make us wait very long for the nurse to come back in this time. He is 12lb even and 23 ¼ inches long. Yeah, 10th and 3rd percentiles. He’s tiny- as perfect strangers feel free to tell me over and over again. The doctor just says he’s small but still growing and since he’s so active, he may never get the big chub. He’s meeting all his milestones and sleeping like a champ most nights. 8ish-4ish, eat and then back until 8. This past week, he’s skipped the early feed 4 times and slept a straight 11-12hrs. Woo!

Little Ted put himself to sleep for a nap. No nursing, no jiggling on my shoulder; just his two fingers. Still lying next to me on the pillow, but this is some progress. heh

Little Ted woke from his nap today and I went to change him. I went to grab a diaper and thought, "I should cover him" JUST as the spray started. Threw cloth diaper on him but not before he peed all over his face. I admit I laughed. A lot. ...Once again, he missed his intended target (me) and took out innocent bystanders (his socks, outfit, changing table, head.)

Dave doesn't find this nearly as funny as I do. heh

This kid cracks me up. Non stop "uhh... Ahhhhuh. Aaaaah!! Hiiiiiii" He's just talking and yelling at us but doesn't get the whole consonant thing yet. When he's not doing that, he's blowing rasberries at us.

Why does he fight naps so much? Today he's been up and alert all day but for 30min. I can usually use nursing to put him to sleep on me for 45min or so. I've been trying, but he's just NOW dozing off. *sigh* Course, take him to cookout... and he makes a liar out of me and sleeps peacefully on a chaise lounge amongst all the noise without issue.

Almost forgot to take picture today. Of course, he tried to kill me by not sleeping well previous night. He's been doing this every 3rd night or so the last couple weeks. Frustrating.

Today's trip 45min away for lunch and visiting went better than last time. He was so good! Catnap on way, happy and alert with people holding all through lunch, fussy at sun in eyes when headin east for 2miles but even slept way home without fuss. Usually he cries for 10-15min before giving up and sleeping in car. He is not a car sleeping baby. I've seen him stay awake for an hour driving.
