Chilly morning (47 degrees at 7am!). Figured I'd take the opportunity to put him in this littly wooly like teddy bear outfit. He's pretty much outgrown it already (snug in the diaper area) so wanted to get it on him and get a picture. So cute. One of the couple of outfits Mom had a chance to buy him. I told her it was going to be too warm when he could wear it but she couldn't resist the adorable factor. It's 0-3 and he didn't fit in most of those until July and is just starting to outgrow them.

That is also the rocking chair that my mother rocked me in. I don't use much because it hurts my butt which is much wider than my mom's was when she had kids. heh.

Good day today. Fun watching Ted grab for toy and then pass it to other hand (or use both hands) to put it in his mouth. His aim is improving, although he bonks himself in the forehead and eye a lot. Also, the teething theory is proving stronger: happy, then wailing... until we put cold teether in his mouth for a minute or two, then happy laughing (drooling) baby again

Little Ted woke up around 1:30, ate and then slept until 8. He was in no way going back to sleep at that point so he got a bath. Then tummy time wher he rolled over to his back!! Three times in a row to the left AND right! Such a big boy!

The pictures don't show it, but the boy is DROOLING. So much that his chin, neck and chest were all red by end of day. Time for daytime bib to prevent a rash. He had really bad baby acne when he was younger (as some of the pictures show.) I was diligent in wiping milk\slobber off his face and it cleared up so the bib will help his poor skin.

Today was a scary fit. Just started wailing... had just eaten and was happy and smiling and then inconsolable crying. No holding, no diaper change and even nursing didn't help at first. He just fought it and scr...eamed. I persisted and he ate and went to sleep. He was a little cheery when he woke up for about 10min and then fussy and it was bedtime. I think it is teething. So early!

9pm -7am, then back in bed by 8 and is now just waking up at 10am. I think we're going to have to work on getting him to bed earlier at night, though. Make it easier now before I get a job or something and really mess with him.

Not one of our better nights. Fell asleep around 8, but woke up when put in crib, repeat at 9, reapeat at 10, then woke up at 11:30, 1:30, 4:30 and up at 8. Tiiiired today.

You know, I watch the baby stories on TLC and realize my pregnancy and T's birth could have been much worse. I worked until the end, no c-section, no jaundice. Maybe that's why I am already trying to figure out if\when to have another? LOL

Little Ted is thiiiiis close to rolling over from his stomach. On his back, he'll roll to his side but never all the way. he's also sticking his hand out at things but doesn't grab yet. Kinda funny, it looks like he's pointing at stuff all the time.

082009 - 3 months!

I think I will try to do some updates on him here rather than just facebook. I'm going to go back and fill in as much as I can. 2 weeks ago I started taking at least one picture every day. I was disappointed that I didn't take any pictures for over week sometimes. He changes a lot in a week!

Last night he slept from 8ish-5ish, ate and right back to sleep until 9am. He is still not napping without me. while the night sleeping is great for as long as it lasts, I really would like him to nap in his crib, too. Eating lunch, doing something around the house would be good. Dave is awesome and says my job is to take care of the baby, if I get anything else done, it's a bonus. Still, unemployed woman would like to contribute more to the house.

When he was two months, I pushed for crib sleeping at night. Now, I'll start with the naps. If it doesn't work, we'll go back to the chair and he can nurse\nap. He doesn't take a pacifier even though I do still try every few days but about to give up because what's the point?

While he does babble on occasion, he has also started to scream if he gets tired AND hungry. Freaking his poor Dad out. Freaked grampa out today, too. Happy, smiling, laughing baby who just starts crying his eyes out for no reason. Nurse and he's happy but tired. Course, he's also a wreck when he wakes up from naps. He gets that from me, though. I am cranky when I wake up because I don't know what the heck's going on. Pure confusion. I just hold him and let him figure it out and he's fine after a few minutes.

Started sleeping 8hrs, feeding then sleeping another 2-3. Awesome for my mind. Painful for my chest.

I was that woman with a screaming baby in restauraunt today. Tired + hungry = screaming. So mad he wouldn't take bottle- had to nurse in bathroom. Then danced until he fell asleep on chest. He stayed there with cloth diaper over him through lunch.

Been CHOMPING on his fingers rather than sucking (he won't take a pacifier). I've had several people mention teething. He's not 3 months yet! It's too early, right? Right?

Went to bed at like 8:30, woke up at 2 and 6 (thanks to his Dad) and then slept until 9:45. I think that was kind of awesome. All in his CRIB. Finally.
